Bond Tours implements Travelink

Independent specialist tour operator, Bond Tours, is implementing Comtec’s Travelink tour operator sales and management system in order, it says, to improve its business operations and enhance the service it offers to customers.
The Epsom-based operator, a member of The Association of Independent Tour Operators, has been specialising in tailor made itineraries and special interest tours to Croatia for over 20 years. The introduction of Comtec Travelink will replace a number of previously disparate systems with a single platform that will power travel booking services for Bond Tours’ call-centre and in the near future provide online holiday search and booking services for travel agents and consumers.

The Travelink system will provide Bond Tours with a management module enabling the tour operator to package its own contracted travel inventory with flights sourced in real-time from 3rd-party suppliers and to apply dynamic pricing rules to flexibly manage its margins according to demand, distribution channel and other criteria.
