Flybe boosts Southampton-Glasgow route

Flybe announces it will increase its services on a key route between Southampton and Glasgow from four times to six times dailyThe introduction of these extra services in September will bring major cost reductions and bring the lowest prices into the marketplace.

Due to high demand on this major route Flybe will also deploy the new Embraer 195 increasing daily capacity by a massive 75%. This will enable Southampton’s largest and original low fares airline to bring the best value, most frequent and fastest travel option between the South and North.

The route between Southampton and Glasgow is key for both business and leisure travel, offering passengers from the South a convenient, low cost travel option direct from their doorstep to one of Scotland’s major cities.

With the addition of two extra flights per day, Flybe’s cost effective service will not only undercut competitor airline fares, but also offer customers a far more time effective option to lengthy road and rail travel up to Scotland.
