Innovata and Penauille Servisair are forming a long-term data partnership, effective immediately. As part of the agreement, Innovata will provide a comprehensive range of flight schedule related services to help fulfil Penauille Servisair’s business requirements for regularly updated airline schedule information

Under the agreement Innovata supply a weekly customised extract of its SRS Schedules data into Penauille Servisair’s central database which is used to supplement operational data distributed to over 140 Penauille Servisair locations. The SRS database, marketed in association with IATA, is managed and maintained by Innovata with over 900 airlines participating in and regularly updating the database directly. On average 88% of all schedules held in the database are refreshed at least weekly.

Innovata’s data will also be supplied to Sabre Airline Solutions for use in the Sabre Streamline Resource Management Suite that Penauille Servisair has recently commissioned from Sabre. This completes a neat triangle, as Sabre Airline Solutions are an official contracted reseller of Innovata’s SRS data for use in all Sabre Airline Solutions products and services.

Greg Cork, SVP Global Information Systems at of Penauille Servisair comments, “We recently took the decision to switch our airline schedules data contract to Innovata and sign a multi-year contract. We were very impressed with the responsiveness and flexibility Innovata showed both during the initial data testing and the analysis phase.”

In addition, the Innovata-Penauille Servisair partnership includes a commitment to develop a brand new service based on a real-time global flight status data feed.  A pilot study is now underway involving the close co-operation of both companies’ technical teams to ensure the pilot is effective as possible and gets upgraded to a permanent service.  Richard Thorne, Managing Director, Innovata commented, “Innovata, by its very name, strives to be innovative and at the cutting edge in whatever we do, and I am very excited at this technical collaboration between Innovata and Penauille Servisair.  This new service is a first for the Ground Handling marketplace and the pilot study will ensure that it is customised to Penauille Servisair’s specific requirements.”
