Embassy Suites takes Dallas biz award

The Embassy Suites Hotel
Dallas-Frisco has received the
‘Facility of the Year’ award from the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of Meeting
Professionals International. Located in Frisco, Texas, the Embassy
Suites Dallas-Frisco is owned by Mr. John Q. Hammons and is managed by
John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts.

“We continually strive to provide our guests with an exceptional and
personalized experience,” said Bill Bretches, general manager of the
Embassy Suites Hotel Dallas-Frisco.  “Receiving this award from a
prestigious group of industry professionals proves our dedication to being
one of the Dallas area?s most hospitable properties and to upholding the
highest standards in our services.”

MPI’s Dallas/Fort Worth chapter awarded the hotel with the honor based on
its experience during a monthly meeting in September 2005.  At each
monthly meeting, members evaluate the venue by rating the facility, menu
selection and service.  At the end of the year, each facility’s scores are
compared and the top three are nominated for the ‘Facility of the Year’
award.  Committee and board members then vote on which facility wins the
final honor.  Other hotels that were nominated this year include the Hyatt
DFW and Adam’s Mark Hotel Dallas.

In addition to MPI’s ‘Facility of the Year’ award, the Embassy Suites
Hotel Dallas-Frisco recently received the AAA Four-Diamond Award and
Embassy Suites brand awards. The hotel also celebrated its one-year
anniversary in April 2006.

?“We are proud of the industry recognition the hotel has received during
its first year of operation,” said Mr. John Q. Hammons, founder, chairman
and chief executive officer of John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts, LLC. “I
am confident that the facility will continue to exceed the industry’s and
guests” expectations.”
