US Airways will begin service three times per week between its hub in Las Vegas and “Music City”—Nashville, Tenn, from Oct. 5. Passengers will be able to fly the route on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, creating a perfect schedule for a weekend getaway.
“This new route demonstrates one of several synergies born from the merger of America West and US Airways,” said Andrew Nocella, senior vice president, scheduling, planning and alliances. “As a result, US Airways can now offer Nashville passengers non-stop service to Las Vegas as well as convenient one-stop access to 21 destinations in the Western United States.”
Service between Las Vegas and Nashville will be operated using an Airbus A319 aircraft with 124 seats (12 in first class, 112 in the main cabin.)
