Worldspan and US Airways are signing a new five-year content distribution agreement.
Through the agreement, users of the Worldspan system will have the opportunity to access all US Airways published fares and inventory, whether flown under the America West or US Airways brand, including Web fares available on its own site and through third parties. In conjunction with the agreement, Worldspan has developed two new optional products to introduce into the marketplace.
“US Airways places a high priority on providing our best content to Worldspan retailers. Worldspan has helped US Airways’ operations and distribution reach new levels for many years, and through this new agreement we will continue to benefit from the value they provide as a vital business and technology partner,” said Scott Kirby, executive vice president of sales and marketing at US Airways.
“We are delighted to partner with US Airways in distributing their products and services to our valued subscribers,” said Rakesh Gangwal, chairman, president and chief executive officer for Worldspan. “This agreement, together with the others we have signed, underscores our commitment to provide our customers with the solutions and services they require to grow and succeed in the years to come.”
