Air Transat launches third Toronto flight

Due to high customer demand following the launch of its winter schedule last month, Air Transat is adding a third weekly flight between London and Toronto. From December 2006 to March 2007, the airline will operate flights from Gatwick Airport to Toronto on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - daily flights will resume in Spring.

Seats can be booked through the major GDS: airline code TS. A 7% commission is available on all published fares sold through IATA agents (for non IATA agents, Air Transat flights can be booked through an increasing number of trade flight consolidators).

The additional flight will be operated by wide-body aircraft (Airbus A310) with a choice of Club and Economy Class. Fares start from just ₤82 one-way and ₤124 return in Economy class and ₤322 one-way and ₤484 return in Club Class (plus taxes, fees and charges).

Air Transat’s Commercial Director U.K. & I said “Bookings for short-breaks to Toronto and Niagara this autumn are particularly encouraging with many of our tour operator partners taking the initiative and contracting additional hotel accommodation to package with our flights. There are some great value short-breaks available retailing from ₤299 including flights and accommodation.”
