Aeroflot - Russian Airlines has cancelled the flight to Beirut as the landing strip at Lebanon’s only international airport was destroyed during Israeli strikes, a source at the airline’s public relations department told Itar-Tass news agency on Thursday. “The flight of a SU-509 plane from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo-2 to Beirut was earlier scheduled for 23:40, but it was cancelled because of the current situation there. Passengers will be able to return their tickets without paying penalties,” an Aeroflot official said.
