Swiss signs up to Worldspan

Worldspan, L.P. and Swiss International Air Lines have signed a new multi-year full content agreement. The agreement provides Worldspan-connected travel retailers and corporate customers worldwide with real-time access to the airline’s comprehensive schedules, availability and fares, including Web fares, through the Worldspan global distribution system (GDS), while ensuring travel agencies have protection from any additional charges for making bookings or accessing full content.

“Swiss and Worldspan have a long, cooperative relationship. Worldspan and its customers are valuable marketing partners and we look forward to building on this successful relationship in the months and years to come,” said Elton D’Souza, Vice President - Revenue Management, Pricing and Distribution for Swiss.

“Our new agreement enables Swiss to maintain the reach and value of Worldspan’s global distribution network, and it ensures Worldspan retailers worldwide have access to the airline’s full range of inventory and fares to serve their customers in the years ahead,” said Kevin Ficco, vice president - Airline Distribution and Business Development for Worldspan.

Swiss International Air Lines is a Worldspan Airline Source® participant, utilizing the highest level of connectivity for airlines through the Worldspan GDS.
