Iberia pilots finish strike

13th Jul 2006

Iberia have called off their strike Wednesday in the face of possible court action against them for an illegal stoppage, according to EFE news wire. The move came on the third day of the strike. Wednesday, like the first two days, saw cancellation of about a third of the carrier’s flights, or some 240 take-offs.

The summer travel plans of thousands of passengers were drastically upset by the strike, which originally was scheduled to last a week.
