Hilgers leads Swissotel marketing

Swiss™tel Hotels & Resorts has appointed Mrs. Stephanie Hilgers as Director, Partner Marketing with effect from 14 June 2006.  Mrs. Hilgers will work with existing partners and establish new relationships in the travel trade to further promote the Swiss™tel brand.

Presently, Swiss™tel Hotels & Resorts has more than 15 airline partners.  Mrs. Hilgers will oversee the conceptualization and execution of global partner marketing strategies with existing partners such as Gulf Air and Emirates for the Middle East market, and Delta and America Airlines for the US market.  In addition, she will drive the development of new partnerships with lifestyle brands of similar brand attributes and positioning.  Mrs. Hilgers will report to Ms. Petra Götting, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Swiss™tel Hotels & Resorts.

Prior to her appointment with Swiss™tel Hotels & Resorts, Mrs. Hilgers had assumed various positions at international hotel chains such as Hyatt International.  In her last position, she was Regional Director of Sales for South Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Russia.  A German national, Mrs. Hilgers holds a bachelor degree of the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.
