Global airline traffic grows by 6%

Global airline traffic is expected to rise steadily until 2008 in line with an anticipated good performance by the world economy, according to the United Nations’(UN) aviation agency. The UN International Civil Aviation Organization found in its medium-term forecast that airline traffic would grow 6.1 per cent in 2006, 5.8 per cent in 2007, and 5.6 per cent in 2008.
