Gulf Air unveils new duty free range

Gulf Air’s popular ‘priceless’ duty free shopping onboard has come up with a whole new range of products offering passengers more choices at competitive prices. As many as 40 new products from some of the world’s leading fashion houses such as, Chanel, Christian Dior, Burberry, Prada, YSL, Givenchy and Calvin Klein are being offered from 1 July 2006.

Some of the products are exclusive to Gulf Air, which means Gulf Air passengers are preferred guests. For instance, Gulf Air will launch the newest fragrance, “Pure” from Dunhill onboard for the first time.

“Gulf Air focuses on every aspect of the passenger travel in order to make the travel experience more interesting and exciting,” says Gulf Air Head of In flight and Cabin Crew Services Michael Kent.

“We regularly review our duty free products on offer so that passengers get innovative, fresh and high quality products at competitive prices. Our continued successful partnership with Arime, our duty free concessionaire, ensures this.”

The new edition of Gulf Air Inflight duty free magazine ‘Priceless Duty Free’ features the whole new range of products which include ‘Pure’ from Dunhill, the latest in fashion accessories from Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger, Zeades and Paris Bijoux.

Not just perfumes and fashion accessories; Gulf Air passengers will have a choice of other products as well. A trendy computer kit -the latest innovation from Tumi, PowerTraveller, a new compact travel speakers for both business and pleasure use or the ‘noise reduction mini stereo headphones’ from the world famous Sennheiser and many more are on offer.

To make the onboard shopping experience even better and more convenient, Gulf Air has introduced a hand-held terminal to complete the sale transaction faster.
