To Escape To website wins award

‘To Escape To Ltd’ has picked up the award for the best tour operator website at the third annual Travelmole Web Awards. With 1000 websites nominated and over 12,000 votes cast, To Escape To beat off competition from Thomson, Bridge and Wickers and Scott Dunn to win the prestigious prize.

“As young, ambitious company, winning an award like this is a great achievement, especially against some of the most established companies in the business. We have worked hard to create a balance between showcasing the diversity and beauty of the stunning properties that we feature and providing a website that is easy to use. This award is really down to these unique places that we feature that make it such an enjoyable site to navigate.” comments To Escape To Director, Ingram Casey.

To Escape To was set up in 2003 by two friends, Ingram Casey and Tom Corcoran who saw a gap in the market for long-haul villa holidays and more personalised, bespoke travel to Southern Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Mauritius, Seychelles, Mozambique and Botswana. At the company’s core, is a vision to create bespoke holidays designed entirely around the individual’s requirements, an approach which appeals as much to honeymooning adventurers as seclusion-seeking families.

The easy-to-use website is full of inspirational hideaways with an abundance of images on each property and intricate details engaging the browser such as ‘Joanna Lumley stayed here when filming the BBC 1 ‘Born to be Wild series’. The website is To Escape To’s primary marketing tool, allowing them the flexibility to constantly update their portfolio.
