SAS, Novair sign 3 year ground deal

Novair has signed an agreement with SAS Ground Services (SGS) for ground handling at airports in Scandinavia. Novair is a sister company of Apollo and is part of the travel group Kuoni Travel Holding Ltd. Novair is one of SGS’s bigger customers, with around 2,000 departures annually.

The agreement means that Novair has decided to renew its cooperation with SGS for three years. It covers all the airports in Scandinavia at which SGS operates. Of these, Novair currently serves around 15 destinations.

“SAS Ground Services provides us with a comprehensive solution for Scandinavia with very high quality services,” says Anders Fred, President of Novair.

“We are very pleased that Novair has once again chosen SAS Ground Services as its supplier of ground handling services and look forward to our continued good cooperation,” says Madeleine Raukas, President of SAS Ground Services Sweden AB.

SAS Ground Services (SGS) is a full-service provider of airline ground handling and airport-related services and a wholly owned subsidiary of the SAS Group. SGS is the largest ground handling company in Scandinavia but is also present at many locations around the world, in total at 160 airports in 40 countries. SGS has an annual turnover of SEK 6,200 million and about 8,200 employees.
