26th Jun 2006

China Eastern Airlines has suffered $12,500 damages in the hunt for a mouse that boarded one of its commercial jets, China Radio International said on Sunday. Sanitary and epidemiological services were searching for the mouse for 24 hours.

They found the rodent onboard an A-300 aircraft only after it had been treated with a gas.

Several flights were cancelled because of the search.
