Swiss™tel Moscow welcomes new man

Swiss™tel Krasnye Holmy Moscow has announced the appointment of Mr. Ian Jones as the new General Manager.  Positioned at the top end of Moscow’s hotel scene, the 34-storey Swiss™tel Krasnye Holmy Moscow opened in mid July 2005 and became an impressive landmark on the skyline of Kosmodamianskaya Embankment, a new cultural and business centre of Moscow.

The towering property features well-appointed and spacious rooms with spectacular views of downtown Moscow, a wide collection of elegant and stylish bars and restaurants, a luxurious Amrita Spa & Fitness Centre and state-of-the-art conference rooms.

With more than 22 years of five-star hotel experience in Europe, Canada and most recently Asia, Mr. Jones started his career at the Toronto Sheraton Centre Hotel & Conference Centre. 


He had his first management experience in the Rooms Division at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and then began his journey in Food & Beverage in a number of five-star hotels in Canada.  Since then, he held various senior management positions in England and Canada including Director of Operations/Resident Manager at the London Hilton Metropole and Hotel Manager at the Sheraton on the Falls, Niagara Falls. 

Prior to joining Swiss™tel Krasnye Holmy Moscow, Mr. Jones was based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where he was instrumental in the opening of a modern five-star hotel with extensive Food & Beverage options - Hilton Kuala Lumpur.
