G2 SwitchWorks and priceline.com are forming a long term agreement that will give priceline.com access to G2’s faring, booking and fulfillment platform.  Priceline is expected to establish its G2 connectivity in the second half of this year.

“G2 is a highly innovative content distribution alternative and priceline.com is pleased to add it to our existing portfolio of supplier connectivity options,” said priceline.com’s Executive Vice President Chris Soder.  “Besides providing technical redundancy, G2 gives us an important additional source of content and airline inventories to address changing market conditions.  We will begin utilizing their technology services immediately and anticipate G2 will become a meaningful source of booking volume for us over time although we have no firm booking commitment.”
