CanJet enjoys fourth birthday

CanJet, the Canadian low-fare airline, is celebrating its 4th. Birthday with festivities at every airport location.    Julie Gossen, the airline’s Executive Vice-President & COO, said, “My CanJet colleagues at all of our airports will be celebrating this special occasion with our customers and each station will be greeting our guests today with birthday cake, refreshments and the usual CanJet friendly service.” She went on to say, “The past 4 years have flown by so quickly and all of us at CanJet appreciate the support we have received from our customers and travel trade partners.” 

CanJet Airlines started service on June 20, 2002 with three Boeing 737-200 aircraft flying to three destinations - Halifax, Toronto and St. John’s.  Today, CanJet has a fleet of ten Boeing 737-500 series aircraft serving fourteen destinations in Canada and the USA.  Ms. Gossen stated, “I also want to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to my colleagues at CanJet who have worked tirelessly over the past four years to get the airline where it is today.  I am very proud of our past and I look forward to our future with great optimism.”
