US Airways plans new Florida service

US Airways will initiate a new service between two prime Florida vacation destinations, with daily round trips between Orlando International Airport and Key West International Airport beginning September 6.“US Airways continues to expand service for all types of travelers,” said Schedule Planning and Alliances Senior Vice President Andrew Nocella. “Connecting popular tourist destinations like Orlando and Key West is a wonderful vacation option. Imagine spending a few days at amusement parks and then a few days in the haunts of Hemmingway, all in one trip.”

US Airways Express service carrier Republic Airways will operate the route using Embraer 170 jet aircraft with a main cabin configuration for 72 passengers.
