Amadeus is supporting Terminal A’s
ambitious international expansion plans following its successful technology partnership with the Spanish online travel agency. Since the beginning of the year Terminal A has doubled its overall bookings, during which time the Spanish online travel agency market grew by only 8%, according to Amadeus estimates. The online travel agency is now the fourth largest in Spain and has aggressive expansion plans.
“Last year, we expected the partnership with Amadeus to boost bookings by 20% but this year our growth has far exceeded that,” says Georges Sans Managing Director of Terminal A, “Off the back of that success, we plan to use Amadeus’ global technology platform to support our ambitious growth plans into international markets.”

Amadeus and Terminal A announced their partnership in July 2005. Amadeus has similar agreements with the top four online travel agencies in Spain and nearly all of Europe’s leading online travel agencies.
