The owner of the easyJet budget airline, easyGroup, has announced that its first project in Bahrain will be a budget hotel scheduled to open before the end of next year.It would be one of 38 planned hotels to be opened across the Middle East within the next 5 years.

Manama will host one of its easyHotels - so-called no-frills properties which offer a basic, compact hotel room for a low price with bookings for accommodation only via its web-site that would open before the end of 2007.

easyHotel has signed a Master Franchise Agreement with Istithmar Hotels, a subsidiary of Dubai-based investment house Istithmar PJSC.
