InterContinental Hotels Group is
celebrating the first birthday of BusinessClub, its corporate rewards
programme.In just one year it has attracted over 2,000 members and is now
available in nine countries across Europe, with the latest launch this month
in the United Arab Emirates.
BusinessClub is a unique incentive programme exclusively for corporate
bookers, PAs and secretaries, which offers an extensive range of rewards.
Members earn points on any accommodation or meetings bookings they make at
over 200 participating InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn or
Express by Holiday Inn hotels across Europe and now within the UAE.
Rewards include Priority Club Reward points, as favoured by German members,
in addition to high street shopping vouchers, preferred by UK members, and
Amazon gift vouchers. BusinessClub points can also be converted into ‘Time
for You’ vouchers that can be spent at a variety of leading retail outlets
on everything from electrical goods to fashion jewellery.
Members spending over €10,000 in a 12 month period will automatically be
upgraded to Gold tier membership which allows them to earn points 15%
BusinessClub benefits also go beyond an individual member so their company
also reaps the rewards. All points earned by a booker can be transferred
into a collective company account where points are accumulated throughout
the year to be used for example for raffle prizes, a Christmas party or
Stephen Powell, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, EMEA commented:
