Abercrombie & Kent was recognized by the readers of
TravelAge West for having the “Most Knowledgeable Reservations Staff” at the first
annual WAVE Awards in Las Vegas.  The goal of the awards is to give travel agents in
the Western United States the opportunity to recognize the outstanding qualities and
services of their travel supplier partners.
Travel agent professionals throughout the 14 Western states and readers of TravelAge
West were invited to vote on the best-of-the-best from a list of Editor’s Picks
chosen after careful review by Editor-in-Chief Ken Shapiro and the editorial team of
TravelAge West.  Review methods included product analysis, on-site visits, a survey
of a select group of travel agents and online research. 
“It is gratifying to have travel professionals recognize the significant investment
in staff training we make so our tour consultants are more knowledgeable destination
specialists, better equipped to help travel agents match the product to the client,”
said George Morgan-Grenville, president of Abercrombie & Kent.
