US Airways inks deal with PROS

PROS, a company who develop software for revenue optimization, has announced the signing of a new partnership with US Airways.As a result of an in-depth assessment of potential revenue management partners, US Airways has determined that PROS provides the best solution suite for its go-forward strategy. At its Tempe, Arizona headquarters, US Airways will begin to transition its recently consolidated network from the merger with America West Airlines onto the PROS revenue management system platform in the coming months.

US Airways Vice President of Sales and Marketing Scott Kirby said, “PROS and America West Airlines have enjoyed a long, beneficial partnership and we are pleased this will continue with the new US Airways. We are confident that PROS will be there to help us in this crucial transition time.”

With the PROS Airline Solution Suite, US Airways will benefit from proven scientific forecasting and optimization technology and will have available sophisticated decision support tools—including the world’s most widely used O&D revenue management system to optimize network demand flows.
