Abu Dhabi’s attractions will be showcased as the emirate is making a strong participation in IMEX 2006, the worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and event, which kicked off yesterday with 3,300 exhibitors from 150 countries taking part. The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) will represent the emirate in the exhibition with a 250 square meter pavilion, combining over 15 government and private entities.
“Our presence at IMEX 2006 is aimed at placing Abu Dhabi on the world’s tourism map as we seek to further bolster our connections with the key players in the tourism industry in Europe and rest of the world,” said Ahmed Ali Al Hossani, ADTA Marketing Manager.
He added that the event is considered an opportunity to showcase the tourism infrastructure project, currently being developed in Abu Dhabi.
