Kuoni in Abu Dhabi with Etihad
35 top performing Kuoni agents are currently in Abu Dhabi this week, to take part in an educational and training programme to increase their knowledge and awareness of the destination. Split into three groups, the agents flew to Abu Dhabi earlier in the week with Etihad Airways, from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester, Etihad’s recently launched route from the north west of England.
Each group is in Abu Dhabi for five days and during their stay, they will be hosted at many of the emirate’s top properties including the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa, the Hilton, both in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and the Emirates Palace.
The highlight of the educational is on Saturday 13th May, when the agents will all meet at the Hilton Abu Dhabi for a seminar commencing at 09.00. The agents are then split into smaller groups of three and four for a workshop, where they will meet the participating hoteliers and representatives from Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and Arabian Adventures in 15 minute time slots. This enables them to learn all about the key selling points of the destination, and the accommodation and tours on offer to their potential clients.
After a lunch provided by the hotel, participants will depart for a spectacular dune safari and dinner in the desert, courtesy of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
