A new low-cost carrier may be launched by 2009 by All Nippon Airways (ANA). According to Reuters the Japanese carrier is aiming to win more customers with a budget airline when Japan’s two major airports expand in 2009/10.

A spokesperson for ANA reportedly said that the company may launch either a new low-cost domestic carrier as well as a separate international one, or one low-cost carrier for both domestic and international operations.

No other details have been released.
