PremiAir gets Cup Final moving on time

15th May 2006

PremiAir, a UK business helicopter
charter was again tasked with ensuring the
match ball for this year’s FA Cup final arrived safely, and in time, for a
prompt kick off. This year’s delivery was more of a special occasion than
in previous years as the ball was accompanied on its journey to Cardiff’s
Millennium Stadium by Shane Warne, the Australian cricketer, who was
responsible for handing it over to match officials.

“The match ball is used for promotional activities right up to the very
last minute and there is just no way that we could guarantee its arrival on
time if we sent it by any other means of transport,” commented Katrina
McCreadie, Marketing Manager, at Mitre. “London to Cardiff in 50 minutes,
without breaking any speed limits is pretty impressive to say the least.”

“We’re delighted to continue with the responsibility of ensuring the match
ball arrives in time and it’s a great compliment that Mitre views us as a
trusted partner,” added Robin Taylor-Hunt, Head of Charter and Management
at PremiAir.
