SAS beats BA fares

11th May 2006

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is outstripping its competitor, British Airways, by more than £300 on some fares from London Heathrow to Scandinavia.

According to the carrier, SAS continues to offer the best price on any day to Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm, when compared to the British flag carrier British Airways. The results of this week’s price comparison show that travellers could save enough for a day of pampering at a luxury health spa.

Lars Ove-Filipson, SAS General Manager UK & Ireland said “We are offering our passengers the opportunity to save more than £300 on a return flight to the three Scandinavian capitals of Oslo, Copenhagen and Sweden. We have long known that we offer better value fares than BA on services to Scandinavia and we are delighted that our record remains unbeaten.”
