No charters cancelled due to Greek quakes

No charter flights to the island of Zakynthos have been cancelled due to aspate of earthquakes in past weeks, a local government official told Athens News Agency.Twenty eight summer charter flights had arrived over the last ten days carrying4,483 tourists, mainly from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland, the regional head of the Ionian islands, Sotiris Vosdou, told Tourism Panorama 2006, an international trade fair in Anthoussa, Attica.

The fair, which ends on May 7, is organised by the Express-Kalofolias Group.Launching the exhibition on Thursday, Tourism Minister Fani Palli-Petralianoted that the government had promoted internal tourism more than any of its predecessors.
