bmi regional scores on punctuality

bmi regional has been named the most punctual scheduled airline at UK
airports by airline, already recognised as the UK’s most punctual short haul
carrier, was awarded the accolade after more than 88 per cent of its
flights were on time during 2005. Average delays were consistently under
seven minutes, an industry best.

Crawford Rix, bmi regional managing director, said: “We are extremely
proud of our on-time record and the staff who work so hard to make it a
reality. This award is a tribute to their dedication.

“Punctuality is the number one priority for the business traveller and
we are determined to retain and strengthen our number one position in
the future.” uses official statistics compiled by the Civil
Aviation Authority to determine the winners of the punctuality awards,
which are issued annually.
