Etihad Airways’ is forecasting rapid growth in the Kingdom’s eastern province following recent participation in the Saudi Aramco Travel Show which recently concluded in Dhahran’s Aramco complex, followed by a second show in Abqiq City. The international airline currently flies regularly from Dammam and Riyadh to Abu Dhabi and beyond but is expected to be servicing Jeddah from as early as summer of this year.
‘Saudi residents are very impressed with Etihad Airways, with its commitment to innovation, style, and, above all else, hospitality,’ said Hamza Sharif, Etihad’s country manager for Saudi Arabia.
‘The Aramco show gave us an opportunity to meet informally with the company’s staff at all levels, from management to very senior VIPs. They were able to ask questions about our expanding network of international routes, but also hear us explain why we believe we add value to Saudi’s current commercial aviation sector.’
