S. Korean airlines levy high fuel charges

South Korea’s airlines will raise fuel surcharges to a record high next month due to surging oil prices, industry sources said Tuesday. Starting May, airlines will increase surcharges on one-way fares from the nation to the United States and Europe to US$52 from the currently $43, the sources said.
