Asiana Airlines, South Korea’s No.2 air carrier, said Monday its first-quarter net profit rose 28.9 per cent from a year ago despite high oil prices.
In the first three months ended in March, net profit came to 41.26 billion won (US$43.86 million), compared to 32.01 billion won in the previous year, the company said in a regulatory filing.
