Seeb International Airport and Salalah Airport witnessed good growth in the level of passenger and cargo traffic and the number of flights during the first three months of this year. Statistics issued by the directorate-general of civil aviation and meteorology at the Transport and Communications Ministry indicated that the passenger traffic rose by 23.7 per cent at Seeb International Airport by the end of March 2006 as the number of passengers came up to 1.73,9 million, compared to 868.03 thousand during the same period in 2005.
