TQ3Navigant inks Verified deal

12th Apr 2006

TQ3Navigant has announced today that it has signed an agreement with Verified Identity Pass (Verified ID), a Registered Traveler provider that operates Clear. As part of the agreement, Verified ID will be offering TQ3Navigant customers a corporate discount on Clear’s membership fees.

Clear gives passengers faster access through airport security checkpoints by scanning members’ biometric information in specially-designated Clear lanes.  In the future, Clear members may receive added benefits, for example, not having to remove their shoes or coats during security screenings.

“The Clear Registered Traveler Program will allow our clients to spend less time in security lines, give them more flexibility and free them from the hassle of inconsistent airport wait times,” said Keith Taylor, TQ3Navigant’s senior vice president of Sales and Account Management.

TQ3Navigant clients who wish to join Clear will be able to begin the enrollment process on TQ3Navigant’s Web site or through their corporate travel portal. The next step will be to provide identification and biometric data such as fingerprints and iris images at Clear kiosks that will be located in many large cities in the coming months. Once Transportation Security Administration approves the application, members will receive a Clear card in the mail.

“By offering Clear, TQ3Navigant is reinforcing its commitment to improving the travel experience of its customers” said Fred Fischer, Verified ID’s senior vice president of Sales. “We look forward to providing our services to TQ3Navigant and its customers.”
