Hilton offers self-service internet

Hilton UK & Ireland has became the first hotel chain to
introduce self-service Internet access to its meeting rooms at hotels in
UK and Ireland.The new, easy to use, self-service product, enables secure high-speed
Internet access for up to four guest connections in a meeting room. The
customer simply plugs a cable into their laptop and the identified port
in the meeting room, launches the Internet browser and via a purchase
page, selects to pay by credit card for either an hour or a day. IT

The introduction of self-service Internet access to Hilton Meetings is a
key development within Hilton Connections, which provides a range of
leading connectivity solutions for hotel guests, conference and meetings
delegates and visitors. Developed and serviced by iBAHN, the new product
follows feedback from hotels and guests to provide a connection option
for meetings not requiring the level of technical support provided by
Hilton’s Fully Managed Conference Solution.
