Republic Airways has reported preliminary passenger traffic results for March 2006 with a 45.3% increase in passenger miles over the same month last year. The company generated 540 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), while available seat miles (ASMs) increased to 711.7 million, a 38.9% increase.

Block hours were 43,977 in March 2006, a 13.4% increase over March 2005. Load factor was 75.9% versus 72.6% in March 2005. A total of 1,026,365 passengers were carried during the month, a 32.1% increase over the same month last year. This is the first time Republic Airways has reported over One million passengers in a single month.
