Frank Hülsmann has been named the new Head of Investor Relations, effective 1
April.He succeeds Ulrike Schlosser, who has been in charge of this department since
2001. Ulrike Schlosser is taking up the post of Managing Director at In-Flight
Management Solutions GmbH, a subsidiary of LSG Sky Chefs. In his new capacity, Frank
Hülsmann will be responsible for maintaining communications with financial markets,
as well as for shareholder relations at Deutsche Lufthansa AG. He will report direct
to Chief Financial Officer Dr. Karl-Ludwig Kley.

After training in commercial banking, Hülsmann took a degree in business
administration at the University of Paderborn. From 1996 to 1999 he worked in
International Bank Relations at Commerzbank AG, where he was responsible for the
Latin American market. He joined Lufthansa in 2000, assuming the position of Manager
Corporate Finance. In 2004 he was appointed Head of Financial Strategy and Creditor
Relations.
