The five star Columbia Beach Resort in Pissouri Bay Cyprus is forming a new partnership with Molton Brown to supply the highly rated Columbia Spa with their spa range of products and treatments.

First introduced at the beginning of March 2006 visitors to the Columbia Beach Resort can now enjoy Molton Brown guest amenities in all 94 suites of this all-suite hotel and are able to experience Molton Brown spa “journeys” in the hotel’s spa.

The Columbia Spa is run by spa manager Nina Raith, an Ayurvedic therapist who joined the hotel nearly two years ago.  Nina explains the reason for choosing Molton Brown for the Columbia Spa: “Molton Brown is a pure, natural, ethical brand with no harsh ingredients.  Our therapists really believe in its integrity and have total confidence in the range of products and treatments.  Molton Brown is known by a large number of our existing clientele, many of whom are from the UK.”

á      the Molton Brown regenerating facial for men - a reviving and toning facial therapy with warm African lifetree and Hungarian carrot oil

The Columbia Beach Resort is one of the island’s most exclusive hotels in an unrivalled stunning location on the 2km Blue Flag beach of Pissouri Bay.  The distinctive architecture of the Resort is inspired by local Cypriot villages featuring low rise buildings in local stone.  The sloping roofs furnished with reclaimed terracotta tiles and shutters on the windows and abundance of natural wood give the resort a discreetly aged and traditional look, landscaped so that old and new blend together.  The stylish and well-appointed accommodation is arranged in ‘villas’ clustered around the 80m lagoon style pool surrounded by rugged cliffs and acres of vineyards in the valley behind.

The 1,050sq m spa boasts five treatment rooms, a spa bath, plunge pool, sauna and steam room.  Recent refurbishments to the spa to coincide with the Molton Brown launch include a new Temple Lounge for clients to recline and relax after treatments furnished with low beds and mountains of pillows.  A new Cocoon seating area has white drapes for discreet consultations before therapies commence.  The main hall which houses spa reception and retail area is dominated by a heated swimming pool which flows into the outdoor lagoon style pool.
