Hilton gives employees $3m incentive

Hilton Hotels Corporation is distributing more than $3 million dollars to 4,800 Employees at 32 North American Properties for Achieving Annual Goals in line with their “Go For the Green” incentive program.
Each year the Hilton Family of Hotels owned and managed hotels set their annual goals based on their prior year’s actual results and projected performance. At the end of the calendar year a hotel must have achieved their goals in each of the Key Performance Indicators of the Balanced Scorecard, the Hilton award winning performance measurement system.

Key Performance Indicators include; Operational Effectiveness,
Revenue Maximization, Brand Management, Loyalty, and Learning & Growth.

All team members at hotels achieving their goals share equally in the award, each receiving a check for up to $500, with team members at repeating hotels receiving double the award, $1,000.
Matthew J. Hart, president and chief operating officer, who issued the challenge commented: “It’s always exciting when a hotel reaches its goals, and it gives me a great deal of pleasure to present these team members (this year’s winners) with this award for their tremendous achievement.”
