Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is planning to develop a new hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. The Mansion on Peachtree will open in January, 2008.
Designed by noted American architect Robert Stern, The Mansion on Peachtree will be the very first ultra-luxury hotel and residential development in Atlanta. Located in Buckhead, the 42-story property will impart an understated elegance and refinement that reflects the ambiance of the world’s finest private residences.

“The hotel and residences will be a notable addition to the Buckhead skyline. A combination of Peachtree Road location, world-class design by Robert Stern and Rosewood’s reputation for providing exceptional luxury hospitality experiences will make this project a great success. We are thrilled to be working with City Centre Properties, whose vision for the property fits perfectly with Rosewood’s,” said John M. Scott III, President and CEO of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.

The Mansion on Peachtree will be the destination of choice for the most discriminating traveler. With 127 hotel rooms and 45 residential units, the property will offer guests and residents the highest quality of amenities and services on an intimate scale unmatched anywhere in the city.

The residences at The Mansion on Peachtree will provide Atlanta’s most affluent citizens a home with the unparalleled services of an ultra-luxury hotel and the design of one of America’s most respected residential architects. The hotel will offer 127 oversized guest rooms including 32 suites. Guest rooms will project the spacious comfort of a private residence. Every room in the hotel will offer guests an exceptional experience with marble bathrooms, luxurious furnishings and some will feature French doors opening onto private balconies.

Located within the tower will be an 80-seat fine dining restaurant that will be complemented by a 30-seat library/lounge bar. A specialty 100-seat restaurant will occupy a separate mansion fronting Peachtree Street. This restaurant includes a 20-seat outdoor terrace for dining and there will be a 50-seat bar and lounge in addition to the restaurant seating.
