Pentecost takes FelCor asset role

FelCor Lodging Trust
Incorporated has appointed Troy A. Pentecost as Executive Vice
President and Director of Asset Management.Mr. Pentecost, 44, was most recently with Remington Hotel Corporation as
Senior Vice President of Operations and Divisional Vice President of
Operations.  In his role, he was responsible for the company’s Operational and
Sales activity.  Prior to Remington, Mr. Pentecost was with Wyndham
International in various management roles including Regional Vice President,
Area Director and General Manager, from 1993 to 2004.  A 25-year hospitality
veteran, Mr. Pentecost also previously worked with Guild Hotel Management
Company where he served as Regional Vice President and Director of Operations.
  “We are pleased to name Troy as our Executive Vice President of Asset
Management.  His career and success in the hospitality industry will be a
strong addition to the FelCor management team,” said Richard A. Smith,
FelCor’s President and Chief Executive Officer.  “I expect Troy to partner
with me in the execution of our strategic plan to reposition our portfolio to
take advantage of revenue opportunities in today’s market.  This, coupled with
the continued emphasis on leveraging our brand relationships, should result in
improved shareholder value.”
  Mr. Pentecost received an Associate’s Degree in Business from Lansing
Community College.  His board appointments include former Secretary and
Treasurer of the Tampa Bay Hillsboro County Hotel and Motel Association.
  The Company also reported that Mr. Jack Eslick will be leaving FelCor at
the end of the quarter to pursue other interests.  In his role as Senior Vice
President and Director of Asset Management, Mr. Eslick was instrumental in
building FelCor’s portfolio from 34 hotels in 1996 to 117 hotels today.
During his tenure, FelCor grew from a market capitalization of $800 million to
$3.3 billion.  Mr. Eslick was part of FelCor’s executive team, reporting to
Richard A. Smith.
