Four Seasons celebrates 15 years in Carib

When Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts struck up a courtship with Nevis, the hotel company knew it was much more than a “match made in heaven.”  Nevis became known as “paradise,” right here on earth.  Expert opinions concurred when Four Seasons Resort Nevis became the first hotel in the Caribbean to feather five diamonds in her cap with AAA’s prestigious Five-Diamond designation in 1992.

The Resort’s 700-plus employees have been commencing in a series of 15th Anniversary celebrations that will last throughout the year to commemorate one of the hospitality industry’s landmark mergers: the launch of the Four Seasons Resort on Nevis on Valentine’s Day in 1991.

According to Martin Sinclair, the Resort’s General Manager, the Resort and the Island, despite setbacks including a devastating hurricane in 1999, have “survived and thrived” through the years thanks to the tremendous sense of community in the Caribbean.  “We share a strong common bond rooted in principles of respect, dignity and service excellence,” said Mr. Sinclair.

“Four Seasons is proud to be paired with a region that has developed its own brand identity as a place of unspoiled beauty, sunny skies, friendly faces and genuine hospitality.”
