Norwegian launches BBC cruise

Norwegian Cruise Line is offering a three-in-one cruise that takes in Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, as well as two days in New York.This new cruise, which has been dubbed ‘the BBC’ by NCL, features two back-to-back six and eight night cruises out of New York.

For the first six nights of the cruise, Norwegian Spirit will head out of New York for the Bahamas calling en route at Port Canaveral and NCL’s private island Great Stirrup Cay, before returning to New York.

Following a short interlude in the city the ship will then depart for the Caribbean calling at St Thomas and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands and King’s Wharf in Bermuda, before cruising back into New York.

Francis Riley, General Manager, NCL UK, comments, “The addition of ‘the BBC’ cruise is an extremely exciting development for NCL. In order to accommodate our guests’ requirements we are always looking for ways to develop our product and this really goes to prove that. It is thrilling for us that we have been able to introduce this cruise that offers our guests three spectacular destinations in one.”

The 16-night ‘BBC’ cruise will sail throughout May, June, July, August and September 2006.
