Photo body slams Aussie tourism campaign

2nd Mar 2006

The new $180 million Australian tourism campaign is being slammed by the Association of Australian Commercial and Media Photographers. This comes after a British photographer took the pictures for the print advertisements rather than an Australian.

Federal Tourism Minister Fran Bailey says as far as she is aware, the majority of the production crew were Australian.

The campaign targets key overseas markets with the slogan “so where the bloody hell are you?”
