airBaltic will in Spring start new operations on Riga from Düsseldorf (Germany), Bergen (Norway), Simferopol (Ukraine), Tbilisi (Georgia), Baku (Azerbaijan) and Warsaw (Poland). From Düsseldorf to Riga airBaltic will fly four times per week from 1 March with departures from Düsseldorf at 08.55 in the morning with arrival Riga at 12.05.
Return flights from Riga at 06.55 with arrival Düsseldorf at 08.10. These flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. airBaltic already flies to Riga from the German cities of Munich, Berlin and Hamburg. The flights to Cologne will be discontinued.
From 26 March airBaltic will start operations from Warsaw to Riga. There will be evening flights daily except for Saturday. Departure from Warsaw at 20.45 with arrival Riga at 23.20. Return flights from Riga to Warsaw will depart at 19.00 and arrive in Warsaw at 19.30 local time. Warsaw is currently operated by LOT, as well.
Simferopol will become the 4th Ukrainian destination served by airBaltic. From 11 April there will be morning flights from Simferopol to Riga on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 09.25 with arrival Riga at 11.55. Return flights from Riga at 06.15 with arrival Simferopol at 08.45. airBaltic already operates flights to Riga from the Ukrainian cities of Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Kiev.
Bergen will become the 2nd Norwegian destination operated by airBaltic. From 14 April there will be morning flights from Bergen to Riga on Fridays, Sundays and Mondays at 08.05 with arrival Riga at 11.05. Return flights from Riga to Bergen will leave Riga at 06.30 and arrive in Bergen at 07.30. airBaltic operates 9 weekly flights to the Norwegian capital of Oslo, this will in Spring be increased to 11 weekly flights. Tickets from Bergen and Oslo to Riga will start from 8 EUR excl. taxes.
The capital of Georgia Tbilisi will be added to airBaltic’s even more impressing West-East network on 2 May. There will be 2 weekly early morning flights from Tbilisi to Riga on Wednesdays and Fridays. Return flights from Riga to Tbilisi in the late evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan by the Caspian Sea will also be among the cities where airBaltic will start direct connections to and from Riga. Operations will start on 3 May. There will be 2 weekly early morning flights from Baku to Riga on Mondays and Thursdays. Return flights to Riga from Baku in the late evenings on Wednesdays and Sundays
