The travel review Website TripAdvisor has ranked the 363-room Park Hyatt Los Angeles as the #1 luxury hotel in Los Angeles, awarding high praise to the property’s rooms, service and location.The hotel also ranked #61 in the Top 100 Hotels in the World, the only Los Angeles hotel on the list and one of only four California properties to be honored.
TripAdvisor.com is known for its unbiased reviews of hotels, resorts and vacations, offering more than three million independent traveler opinions of more than 200,000 properties and destinations worldwide. The TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award winners for 2005 were decided by traveler ratings of specific hotel attributes and the Website’s proprietary TripAdvisor Popularity Index, which determines travel satisfaction based on hotel reviews, travel articles, Web-based information and other sources.
TripAdvisor recently added ratings to the hotel review process, allowing travelers to grade properties based on such attributes as cleanliness, value and suitability for specific guest types.
In addition to its rooms, service and location, onsite amenities such as Park Hyatt Los Angeles’ Kara spa were also cited by the Website’s visitors.
