NH Hotel is completing an XML interface with Bookings.
This interface will enable NH Hotels to automatically send rates and real availability information to Bookings without manual intervention for all the hotels of the company. Bookings can then generate reservations for these hotels through their extensive partner network and search marketing activities. This agreement will further strengthen NH global visibility, both in Europe and further a-field.
Iñigo Onieva, Corporate Officer Electronic Distribution of NH Hotels, says, “We have been working with Bookings for two years now and are delighted to have developed this new interface. Through our partnership with Bookings, we have increased the volume of guests originating in particular from Northern Europe, a key business and tourism provider for the Spanish economy.”
By creating an XML interface, NH Hotels aims to infiltrate efficient online distribution channels. This step reflects the company’s focus on innovation, equally in technological advancements as well as in other aspects of the Hotelier industry. This partnership with Bookings represents the first global agreement carried out with an online distribution agency.
Beatriz de Andrés Arias-Salgado, Supply Manager for Bookings Spain and Andorra, comments, “Our partnership with NH Hotels is key, providing our customers with excellent coverage in particular in the Spanish, Dutch and German markets. This new XML interface will help NH hotels to operate on our system without the need to update their availability or rates on an individual basis. We look forward to generating even more reservations for them over the coming months thanks to this service enhancement.”
